AREA:
The nearby area has been greatly transformed thanks to the new Marina and the NDSM site, as it is an attraction for relaxation. The ferry to the old town is 5 minutes by bike.
North is going through a nice development. There is a great atmosphere and several beautiful projects are in development. The Vegastraat is a quiet street with plenty of schools, shops, nurseries, boarding points for public transport and roads in the vicinity. Within 4 minutes you are on the A10, the NDSM wharf is close by and the Noorderpark metro stop is 10 minutes by bike. More and more young, dynamic and creative companies are establishing themselves in Noord. Many people also choose to live there because of the positive developments in the area. Tuindorp Oostzaan:
Tuindorp Oostzaan, from the 1920s, is a village within the city. The regular layout with squares and gatehouses rightly makes it a protected cityscape.
