The entire house was completely renovated in 2008 with the following and more: new layout, renewed roof with insulation, insulated partition walls and floors, and electricity plan with ingenious domotics plan for lighting and equipment.

LAYOUT

Ground floor:

You reach the front door through the front garden. At the entrance is the meter cupboard and wardrobe. On the right is the door to the living/dining room with views over the front and back garden. In the front yard is a magnolia that blooms beautifully twice a year. This tree offers privacy for the living room.

The kitchen with all the necessary appliances is in excellent condition.

Door to the deep garden where there is a 1 year old wooden pergola (Douglas wood) which offers a wonderful place to relax with the built-in corner sofa. On the left side of the backyard is a storage shed / storage room with electricity. Here is a back entrance so you can easily store the bike. There are expansion possibilities on the ground floor of approx. 28m2 through a (permit-free) extension of 4 meters. A new (conservatory) kitchen can be made here.

AREA:

The nearby area has been greatly transformed thanks to the new Marina and the NDSM site, as it is an attraction for relaxation. The ferry to the old town is 5 minutes by bike.

North is going through a nice development. There is a great atmosphere and several beautiful projects are in development. The Vegastraat is a quiet street with plenty of schools, shops, nurseries, boarding points for public transport and roads in the vicinity. Within 4 minutes you are on the A10, the NDSM wharf is close by and the Noorderpark metro stop is 10 minutes by bike. More and more young, dynamic and creative companies are establishing themselves in Noord. Many people also choose to live there because of the positive developments in the area. There are also many fine restaurants and other catering establishments such as: Il Pecorino, Pllek, Loetje, Hangar and Cafe Modern.

Tuindorp Oostzaan:

Tuindorp Oostzaan, from the 1920s, is a village within the city. The regular layout with squares and gatehouses rightly makes it a protected cityscape. The street names are derived from the galaxy with the Zonneplein in the middle of the district, with shops and the neighborhood meeting center. Once built as emergency housing for workers at the NDSM wharf, the houses with gardens are now very popular with young families. After the war, Tutti Frutti village was built on the 'high land', with concrete slabs according to the Airey system. The new De Bongerd district on a former allotment complex with its spacious villas is the garden village of the 21st century. The nearby northern bank of the IJ is nowadays very popular as a location for the creative industry.
